Sunflower Seed Exports From China Post Weak Performance
PANAMA - Feb 14/24 - SNS -- Shipments of sunflower seeds from China were little changed, dropping compared to the previous month in December, available data from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available reports.
Export sales totalled 68,116 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 18% from the 83,473 MT exported the previous month. Movement so far total 462,740 MT, versus 444,830 during the last calendar year.
The latest movement statistics reported Iran was largest buyer, taking 13,630 MT. Russia was the second most important importer buying 7,574 MT, followed by Iraq at 7,037 MT.
