PANAMA - Feb 2/24 - SNS -- Mustard seed markets were unchanged in light trading conditions during the past week with offers from growers remaining in balance with the short term needs of processors and exporters.
However, prices offered to farmers currently occupy a wide range between the lowest and best prices indicated by processors and exporters for farmers dressed product delivered their facilities.
Wide spreads between the high and low bids are a strong indication of the relative needs of market participants as opposed to a statement on end user buying interest.
