Sunflower Seed Exports From China Reveal Strong Result
PANAMA - Jan 29/24 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year posted a impeoved result, with sunflower seed exports from China rose sharply, soaring relative to the previous month in November, according to trade statistics from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available.
Exports reached 83,473 metric tons (MT) during the month, up 61% from the 51,859 MT shipped the previous month. Export sales so far total 394,624 MT, compared to 397,879 in the same period the last calendar year.
Turkey was the largest consumer, receiving 15,304 MT. Iran was the second most important buyer taking 13,453 MT, followed by Iraq at 12,843 MT.
