PANAMA - Jan 26/24 - SNS -- North American mustard seed prices were steady during the past week, reflecting balance between grower selling interest and the short term needs of processors and exporters.
However, price declines since the start of the marketing year and easing gross income potential versus grains is creating doubts in markets about this year's potential seeded area.
Average grower bids during the opening quarter of the 2023-24 marketing year were much higher than those in place since the start of the new year.
