Mixed Week In Field Peas
PANAMA - Dec 1/23 - SNS -- Field pea markets registered a mixed performance during the past week as markets await the final production estimates for Canada and Australia and expect overall demand to slow through at least the end of December.
Yellow peas eased, with processors and exporters well covered at the grower level for short term shipping needs, but also hoping to generate ome demand for the coming calendar year.
Green peas, by contrast, remained strong, with spreads between greens and yellows continuing to widen in the face of differing supply and demand conditions between the two classes.
