Lentils Expect Higher Number In Canada
PANAMA - Dec 1/23 - SNS -- North American lentil markets are keenly awaiting the December 4 production estimates for Canada and those for Australia, due the following day.
There is some expectation Statistics Canada's survey based estimate will be above its last model-based forecast in September.
Yield projections from provincial agriculture departments have been higher than forecast by Statistics Canada, with some believing output could advance from September's 1.54 million metric tons (MT) forecast to as much as 1.85 million next week.
