Turkey's Field Pea Imports Record Strong Result
PANAMA - Nov 28/23 - SNS -- Imports of field peas by Turkey rose slightly versus the previous month in September, official data from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) reports.
Imports for the month reached 10,008 metric tons (MT), up from 8,556 MT the prior month. This boosted imports so far during the calendar year to 303,938, down 3% last year.
Russia was the top shipper, selling 9,330 MT. Ukraine was the second most important exporter shipping 614 MT, followed by United States at 60 MT.
