Sunflower Seed Exports From China Record Strong Performance
PANAMA - Nov 15/23 - SNS -- Shipments of sunflower seeds for China posted solid gains, moving upward relative to the previous month in September, data from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available reports.
Movement totalled 14,698 metric tons (MT) in the month, up 36% from the 10,786 MT shipped the previous month. Export sales so far total 259,292 MT, versus 323,943 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The latest trade data revealed Spain was largest buyer, taking 2,679 MT. Uzbekistan was the second most important importer buying 1,662 MT, followed by Vietnam at 1,162 MT.
