Chickpeas Optimistic About 2024
PANAMA - Oct 27/23 - SNS -- International chickpea markets were relatively steady during the past week, despite somewhat muted end user demand for both desi and kabuli chickpeas.
There is a growing expectation land in chickpeas in parts of the North American growing area will be little changed next year because growers generaly perceive bids as historically strong.
Interestingly, there have been reports of Canadian growers booking next year's seed requirements for kabuli chickpeas.
