Netherlands's Oil-type Sunflower Imports Extend Weak Trend
PANAMA - Sep 16/23 - SNS -- Netherlands's imports of oil-type sunflowers in July posted massive declines, sinking versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Imports totalled 253 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 100% from the 54,261 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 308,023 MT, compared to 395,767 in the same period the previous calendar year.
Ukraine was the biggest exporter, selling 123 MT. Moldova was the second most important supplier supplying 88 MT, followed by Egypt at 25 MT.
