Confection Sunflower Exports From Bulgaria Maintain Weak Tone
PANAMA - Sep 16/23 - SNS -- Bulgaria's movement of confection sunflowers in July posted significant declines, slumping versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Export sales totalled 19,988 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 46% from the 36,724 MT shipped the previous month. Export sales so far total 231,601 MT, versus 233,879 in the same period the previous calendar year.
China was the number one buyer for the month, buying 9,750 MT. United Kingdom was the second most important consumer buying 3,709 MT, followed by United States at 3,283 MT.
