Germany's Confection Sunflower Imports Continue Easy Tendency
PANAMA - Sep 16/23 - SNS -- Germany's imports of confection sunflowers during July eased versus the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.
Imports reached 12,314 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 6% from the 13,053 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 105,966 MT, compared to 130,297 in the same period the last calendar year.
In the month, Bulgaria was the top supplier, selling 5,353 MT. Netherlands was the second most important origin shipping 1,800 MT, followed by France at 1,352 MT.
