U.S. Hops Harvest Improves
WASHINGTON - Aug 11/23 - SNS -- Production of hops is forecast at 104 million pounds for 2023, up 2% from last year, according to the USDA.
Area harvested is forecast at 55,030 acres, down 8% from 2022. Yield is forecast at 1,886 pounds per acre, 192 pounds higher than the 2022 yield.
