Netherlands's Oil-type Sunflower Imports Open On Easy Tone
PANAMA - May 16/23 - SNS -- So far during this calendar year on an easier note, with oil-type sunflower imports by Netherlands plunged compared to the previous month in March, judging from trade statistics from Eurostat.
Total imports during the month amounted to 960 metric tons (MT), down 99% from the previous month's total of 74,764. So far imports have totalled 116,009 MT, down from 199,614 in the same period the last calendar year.
The top export origin during the month was Ukraine, selling 878 MT. Egypt was the second most important origin selling 48 MT, followed by Serbia at 23 MT.
