Field Pea Exports From France Start With Soft Tone
PANAMA - May 16/23 - SNS -- So far during the calendar year with a softer tendency, with field pea export shipments for France sank compared to the previous month in March, according to the most recent statistics from Eurostat.
Exports reached 6,311 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 56% from the 14,211 MT exported the previous month. Exports so far total 32,838 MT, compared to 52,682 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The latest movement data showed Norway was top destination, receiving 5,500 MT. Switzerland was the second most important importer taking 810 MT, followed by Cote D'ivoire at 0 MT.
