Bulgaria's Confection Sunflower Exports Start With Soft Tone
PANAMA - May 16/23 - SNS -- Exports of confection sunflowers for Bulgaria were well down, plunging compared to the previous month in March, available data from Eurostat shows.
Exports for the month reached 22,615 metric tons (MT), down from 32,783 MT the previous month. This boosted export sales so far during the calendar year to 88,635, down 23% last year.
The latest trade data revealed China was number one importer, buying 11,824 MT. United States was the second most important importer taking 3,608 MT, followed by United Kingdom at 3,090 MT.
