Romania's Oil-type Sunflower Exports Start With Soft Tone

PANAMA - May 16/23 - SNS -- So far during the current calendar year on a weaker tendency, with oil-type sunflower exports for Romania fell relative to the previous month in March, judging from available statistics from Eurostat.

Exports during the month reached 38,776 metric tons (MT), down from 71,917 MT the previous month. This boosted shipments so far during the calendar year to 181,182, down 53% last year.

During the month, Turkey was the most important consumer, taking 38,775 MT. United Kingdom was the second most important destination buying 1 MT, followed by Canada at 0 MT.
