Lentil Exports From Canada Manage Easy Performance
PANAMA - May 4/23 - SNS -- So far during this marketing year amanageda weaker performance, with lentil exports for Canada dropped relative to the previous month in March, judging from available statistics from Statistics Canada.
Export sales for the month totalled 149,116 metric tons (MT), down from 175,477 MT the prior month. This lifted movement so far during the marketing year to 1,555,116, up 63% last year.
India was the biggest consumer, taking 33,501 MT. United Arab Emirates was the second most important buyer taking 29,794 MT, followed by Turkey at 20,388 MT.
