Canada's Green Lentil Exports Start On Firm Tone
PANAMA - May 4/23 - SNS -- Canada's export shipments of green lentils in March posted decent increases, moving compared to the previous month, judging from data from Statistics Canada.
Exports during the month reached 30,640 metric tons (MT), up from 29,466 MT the prior month. This boosted movement so far during the marketing year to 245,796, up 21% last year.
Morocco was the number one buyer, buying 4,288 MT. Colombia was the second most important buyer taking 3,788 MT, followed by United Arab Emirates at 2,547 MT.
