Field Pea Exports From Turkey Manage Easy Month
PANAMA - Mar 28/23 - SNS -- Started the current calendar year posteda weaker month, with field pea movement from Turkey sank compared to the previous month in January, judging from recent statistics from Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT).
Export sales during the opening month of the calendar year totalled 35,733 metric tons (MT), down 21% from 45,003 MT the previous month. The data showed movement is up 115% from the 16,624 MT reported in the same month last year.
Iraq was the biggest buyer for the month, taking 19,918 MT. Yemen was the second most important destination taking 7,000 MT, followed by Togo at 2,000 MT.
