Netherlands's Oil-type Sunflower Imports Start With Weak Note
PANAMA - Mar 20/23 - SNS -- Imports of oil-type sunflowers for Netherlands fell sharply versus the previous month in January, data from Eurostat reveals.
The most recent statistics showed imports for the month totalled 10,200 metric tons (MT), down 85% from 68,064 the previous month. Versus the same month last year, imports were down 62% from 26,772 MT.
Current trade data revealed Ukraine was top export origin, supplying 9,838 MT for the month. Serbia was the second most important exporter supplying 187 MT, followed by Moldova at 97 MT.
