Mustard Spreads Remain High

PANAMA - Mar 17/23 - SNS -- Mustard seed markets were generally easier during the past week.

Bids to Canadian farmers for field run product delivered processing plants declined for both oriental and brown mustard, but improved slightly for yellow, reflecting the short term shipping needs.

The biggest decrease was registered for brown, with the best bids falling 8% to CDN 87 cents per pound, while oriental slipped 2% to 93 cents and yellow gained 1% to close at 96.
