Canada's Monthly Exports Largely Unchanged
PANAMA - Feb 7/23 - SNS -- So far during the marketing year, with field pea shipments for Canada were unchanged, remaining relative to the previous month in December, according to trade data from Statistics Canada.
Shipments for the month reached 193,608 metric tons (MT), compared to 194,233 MT the prior month. This increased exports so far during the marketing year to 1,253,983, up 25% last year.
China was the biggest consumer for the month, taking 92,315 MT. Bangladesh was the second most important buyer taking 42,409 MT, followed by United States at 18,503 MT.
