Australia's Broadbean Exports Maintain Weak Tone

PANAMA - Feb 7/23 - SNS -- So far during this marketing year continued their easier trend, with broadbean movement from Australia posted significant declines, slumping relative to the previous month in December, according to trade data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.

Exports for the month reached 24,394 metric tons (MT), down from 41,996 MT the previous month. This lifted movement so far during the marketing year to 66,390, down 22% last year.

Egypt was the biggest destination, receiving 6,360 MT. Saudi Arabia was the second most important destination taking 6,088 MT, followed by United Arab Emirates at 3,356 MT.
