Germany's Confection Sunflower Imports Record Soft Month
PANAMA - Jan 17/23 - SNS -- Imports of confection sunflowers by Germany shrank versus the previous month in November, official trade data from Eurostat reports.
Imports during the month totalled 1,844 metric tons (MT), down from 21,403 MT the previous month. This boosted imports so far during the calendar year to 192,150, up 3% last year.
Moldova was the most important supplier, shipping 724 MT. China was the second most important export origin supplying 498 MT, followed by Turkey at 304 MT.
