Green Pea Exports From Canada Reveal Weak Month
PANAMA - Dec 6/22 - SNS -- Canada's exports of green peas during October eased versus the previous month, judging from data from Statistics Canada.
Shipments for the month totalled 14,477 metric tons (MT), down from 14,737 MT the previous month. This boosted movement so far during the marketing year to 41,324, up 14% last year.
In the month, China was the largest buyer, receiving 4,886 MT. United Arab Emirates was the second most important consumer buying 1,905 MT, followed by Colombia at 1,565 MT.
