PANAMA - Nov 5/22 - SNS -- Australia's movement of chickpeas during September rocketed compared to the previous month, judging from data from Australia Bureau of Statistics.
Export sales during the month totalled 71,469 metric tons (MT), up from 33,220 MT the prior month. This boosted shipments so far during the marketing year to 549,860, down 34% last year.
Pakistan was the most important destination, buying 57,928 MT. Nepal was the second most important destination buying 6,039 MT, followed by Bangladesh at 2,646 MT.
