VANCOUVER - Aug 2/22 - STAT -- Canadian Maple Pea markets finished the 2021-22 marketing year with prices offered to growers rocketing 43% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Maple Pea was CDN$634.18 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $442.77 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $716.50 per MT in December, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $481.34 per MT in August.
