Italy's Field Pea Imports Continue Easy Tone
PANAMA - Jul 20/22 - SNS -- Italy's imports of field peas during May fell compared to the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Imports for the month reached 3,307 metric tons (MT), down from 4,641 MT the prior month. This lifted imports so far during the calendar year to 60,500, down 3% last year.
The largest exporter during the month was Russia, selling 2,886 MT. Argentina was the second most important export origin selling 300 MT, followed by Canada at 99 MT.
