France's Field Pea Exports Continue Easy Tone
PANAMA - Jul 20/22 - SNS -- France's exports of field peas in May sank compared to the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Shipments during the month totalled 4,855 metric tons (MT), down from 21,932 MT the previous month. This boosted movement so far during the calendar year to 79,468, down 31% last year.
China was the most important consumer, buying 4,097 MT. Switzerland was the second most important consumer taking 640 MT, followed by South Africa at 105 MT.
