Belgium's Field Pea Imports Record Better Result
PANAMA - Dec 17/21 - SNS -- Belgium's imports of field peas during October recorded huge improvement, leaping compared to the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Imports totalled 47,625 metric tons (MT) in the month, up 245% from the 13,801 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 130,379 MT, compared to 162,742 in the same period the previous calendar year.
For the month, Russia was the largest origin, supplying 46,891 MT. Canada was the second most important supplier shipping 575 MT, followed by Australia at 157 MT.
