Field Pea Exports From Russia Maintain Solid Tone
PANAMA - Dec 9/21 - SNS -- At this point in the calendar year are maintaining a stronger tone, with field pea export shipments for Russia jumped relative to the previous month in September, according to available data from Federal Customs Service of Russia.
Movement during the month totalled 223,674 metric tons (MT), up from 182,524 MT the prior month. This boosted shipments so far during the calendar year to 837,618, up 59% last year.
Turkey was the most important buyer, buying 49,225 MT. Belgium was the second most important consumer buying 47,155 MT, followed by Latvia at 37,597 MT.
