WASHINGTON - Mar 31/21 - SNS -- Sorghum growers intend to plant 6.94 million acres of sorghum for all purposes in 2021, up 18% from last year, according to the USDA.
Kansas, the leading sorghum-producing State, is expecting 20% more sorghum acres in 2021 than last year. Texas growers are expecting to plant 11% more acres than last year.
