Field Pea Imports By Spain Post Better Result
PANAMA - Sep 16/20 - SNS -- So far during this calendar year posted a impeoved result, with field pea imports for Spain rocketed compared to the previous month in July, according to official statistics from Eurostat.
Imports totalled 7,101 metric tons (MT) during the month, up 969% from the 664 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 28,946 MT, compared to 65,390 during the last calendar year.
Current trade statistics revealed Ukraine was biggest export origin, shipping 6,000 MT for the month. France was the second most important export origin selling 957 MT, followed by Canada at 69 MT.
