China's Field Pea Imports Sustain Firm Trend
PANAMA - Aug 13/20 - SNS -- China's imports of field peas during June were up significantly, rising versus the previous month, according to data from General Customs Administration of China
NOTE: Data for Jan and Feb 2020 is not available.
Total imports in the month reached 220,475 metric tons (MT), up 22% from the previous month's total of 180,709. So far imports have totalled 800,699 MT, up from 771,719 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The most important shipper during the month was Canada, selling 206,461 MT. United States was the second most important export origin selling 9,848 MT, followed by France at 2,801 MT.
