Large Yellow Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 3/20 - STAT -- Canadian Large Yellow Pea markets finished the 2019-20 marketing year with prices offered to growers inching 1% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Large Yellow Pea was CDN$258.74 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $261.05 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $301.02 per MT in June, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $231.48 per MT in August.
