Spain's Field Pea Imports Start With Soft Tendency
PANAMA - Apr 20/20 - SNS -- At this point in the calendar year on a weaker note, with field pea imports for Spain shrank relative to the previous month in February, according to trade data from Eurostat.
Total imports during the month reached 95 metric tons (MT), down 98% from the previous month's total of 4,158. So far imports have amounted to 4,253 MT, down from 13,909 in the same period the last calendar year.
During the month, Canada was the top shipper, supplying 93 MT. Peru was the second most important exporter supplying 2 MT, followed by Bolivia at 0 MT.
