Field Pea Imports By Spain Continue Soft Tendency
PANAMA - Feb 14/20 - SNS -- Imports of field peas for Spain shrank compared to the previous month in December, data from Eurostat shows.
Imports totalled 1,487 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 67% from the 4,498 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 190,534 MT, compared to 607,784 during the previous calendar year.
Recent trade statistics revealed France was number one export origin, supplying 1,336 MT in the month. Canada was the second most important export origin supplying 144 MT, followed by Belgium at 3 MT.
