Field Pea Exports From Lithuania Record Strong Result
PANAMA - Aug 16/19 - SNS -- Lithuania's export shipments of field peas in June jumped versus the previous month, according to data from Eurostat.
Total export sales for the month reached 23,388 metric tons (MT), up 48% from the previous month's total of 15,815. So far shipments have totalled 134,189 MT, down from 191,223 in the same period the previous calendar year.
Recent trade data reported Norway was largest destination, buying 8,469 MT for the month. Netherlands was the second most important consumer buying 5,760 MT, followed by Denmark at 3,175 MT.
