Romania's Soybean Imports Record A Improved Performance

PANAMA - Apr 17/19 - SNS -- Romania's imports of soybeans during February rose sharply, leaping versus the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.

Imports totalled 318 metric tons (MT) during the month, up 127% from the 140 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 458 MT, compared to 3,959 in the same period the previous calendar year.

During the month, Moldova was the most important supplier, shipping 192 MT. Ukraine was the second most important exporter shipping 112 MT, followed by Serbia at 14 MT.
