Soybean Imports By Germany Post A Improved Result

PANAMA - Mar 20/19 - SNS -- Germany's imports of soybeans in January advanced compared to the previous month, judging from data from Eurostat.

Imports for the first month of the calendar year totalled 255,063 metric tons (MT), up 7% from 238,711 MT the previous month. The statistics revealed imports was down 24% from the 334,954 MT recorded during the same month last year.

Recent movement statistics showed United States was biggest exporter, shipping 237,033 MT during the month. Serbia was the second most important export origin selling 12,232 MT, followed by Ukraine at 5,409 MT.
