Soybean Imports From Greece Post Weak Month

PANAMA - Feb 22/19 - SNS -- At this point in the current calendar year revealed a easier month, with soybean imports by Greece were well down, plunging relative to the previous month in December, according to available statistics from Eurostat.

Imports totalled 22,580 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 51% from the 46,047 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 332,826 MT, versus 317,344 during the last calendar year.

The top origin during the month was United States, supplying 12,962 MT. Ukraine was the second most important origin shipping 9,536 MT, followed by Netherlands at 44 MT.
