Germany's Soybean Imports Post Weak Performance

PANAMA - Feb 22/19 - SNS -- Imports of soybeans for Germany shrank compared to the previous month in December, trade data from Eurostat shows.

Imports during the month totalled 113,545 metric tons (MT), down from 298,021 MT the previous month. This lifted imports so far during the calendar year to 3,386,032, up 17% last year.

The largest origin throughout the month was United States, selling 113,406 MT. China was the second most important supplier selling 94 MT, followed by Canada at 40 MT.
