United Kingdom's Soybean Imports Maintain Weak Tendency
PANAMA - Feb 22/19 - SNS -- Imports of soybeans by United Kingdom fell sharply versus the previous month in December, trade data from Eurostat reports.
Imports totalled 2,722 metric tons (MT) during the month, down 96% from the 70,048 MT shipped the previous month. Imports so far total 743,959 MT, versus 756,750 during the previous calendar year.
Canada was the top exporter for the month, shipping 1,582 MT. Ireland was the second most important export origin shipping 458 MT, followed by Belgium at 316 MT.
