Soybean Imports From Romania Post Easy Performance
PANAMA - Feb 22/19 - SNS -- At this point in the current calendar year recorded a easier month, with soybean imports for Romania were slightly lower, falling relative to the previous month in December, according to official statistics from Eurostat.
Imports totalled 52,945 metric tons (MT) for the month, down 17% from the 63,451 MT exported the previous month. Imports so far total 250,993 MT, compared to 125,390 in the same period the previous calendar year.
The number one exporter throughout the month was United States, shipping 52,050 MT. Moldova was the second most important shipper shipping 849 MT, followed by Serbia at 45 MT.
