Netherlands's Soybean Imports Reveal Slow Performance

PANAMA - Feb 22/19 - SNS -- At this point in this calendar year posted a easier performance, with soybean imports for Netherlands were slightly lower, easing relative to the previous month in December, judging from recent statistics from Eurostat.

Imports for the month totalled 215,712 metric tons (MT), down from 220,223 MT the prior month. This lifted imports so far during the calendar year to 3,851,132, up 1% last year.

Recent trade data showed United States was most important origin, shipping 214,583 MT during the month. Canada was the second most important export origin shipping 547 MT, followed by China at 474 MT.
