USDA National Grain Review

ST. JOSEPH - Nov 6/15 - SNS -- The USDA issued its latest weekly national grain market review, covering the period through Nov 6.

WEEKLY NATIONAL GRAIN MARKET REVIEW
   Compared to last week, grain and soybeans were mixed for the week.  Corn and
soybeans saw harvest pressure.  Weather remains good in Brazil and Argentina
also triggered weakness in the soy complex.  US dollar index remains trading
sharply higher this week pressuring the grains along with a poor export showing.
Weekly export sales for corn were bearish at 22.6 mb with 21.9 mb for the 2015-
2016 marketing year.  Export sales for soybeans were also bearish at 24.1 mb all
for the 2015-2016 marketing year. Wheat sales were listed at 3.9 mb with nearly
all for the 2015-2016 marketing year.  Wheat was mixed, mostly 6-21 cents higher
with the best gains on Chicago wheat.  Yellow Corn was mostly unchanged to 4
cents higher with Sorghum trading 6-15 cents lower.  Soybeans were 4-12 cents
lower.
   WHEAT:  Kansas City US No 1 Hard Red Winter, ordinary protein rail bid
was 2 1/4 cents lower from 5.61-5.71 per bushel.  Kansas City US No 2 Soft Red
winter rail bid was not quoted.  St. Louis truck US No 2 Soft Red Winter
terminal bid was 11-21 cents higher from 4.51-4.86 per bushel.  Minneapolis and
Duluth US No 1 Dark Northern Spring, 14.0 to 14.5 percent protein rail, was 6
1/2 cents higher from 6.41 1/2-6.56 1/2 per bushel.  Portland US Soft White
wheat rail traded 5-21 1/2 cents higher from 5.66 1/2-5.70 per bushel.
   CORN:  Kansas City US No 2 rail White Corn was 1-2 cents lower from 3.74-3.80
per bushel.  Kansas City US No 2 truck Yellow Corn was 2 1/2 cents higher at
3.82 1/2 per bushel.  Omaha US No 2 Yellow Corn was unchanged to 4 cents higher
at 3.56 per bushel.  Chicago US No 2 Yellow Corn was 1/2-2 1/2 cents lower from
3.66 1/2-3.92 1/2 per bushel.  Toledo US No 2 rail Yellow corn was 1/2 cent
lower from 3.84 1/2-3.86 1/2 per bushel.  Minneapolis US No 2 Yellow corn rail
was 2 1/2 cents lower at 3.42 1/2 per bushel.
   OATS AND BARLEY:  US 2 or Better oats, rail bid to arrive at Minneapolis 20
day was 2 1/2 cents lower from 2.34 1/2-2.79 1/2 per bushel.  US No 3 or better
rail malting Barley, 70 percent or better plump out of Minneapolis was not
available per bushel.  Portland US 2 Barley, unit trains and Barges-export was
not available.
   SORGHUM:  US No 2 yellow truck, Kansas City was 10 cents lower at 6.15 per
cwt.  Texas High Plains US No 2 yellow sorghum (prices paid or bid to the
farmer, fob elevator) was 6-15 cents lower from 5.88-6.06 per cwt.
   OILSEEDS:  Minneapolis Yellow truck soybeans were 12 3/4 cents lower at 8.39
per bushel.  Illinois Processors US No 1 Yellow truck soybeans were 3/4-11 3/4
cents lower from 8.78-8.82 per bushel.  Kansas City US No 2 Yellow truck
soybeans were 4 3/4 cents lower at 8.64 per bushel.  Illinois 48 percent Soybean
meal, processor rail bid was 2.20-3.20 lower from 314.40-316.40 per ton.
Central Illinois Crude Soybean oil processor bid was 5 points lower from 26.08-
26.83 cents per pound.
