November Egg Output Rises 3 Percent
United States egg production totaled 8.31 billion during November 2014, up
3 percent from last year. Production included 7.26 billion table eggs, and
1.06 billion hatching eggs, of which 986 million were broiler-type and 72
million were egg-type. The total number of layers during November 2014
averaged 360 million, up 1 percent from last year. November egg production
