U.S. National Weekly Rice Summary

LITTLE ROCK - Jun 16/14 - SNS -- The latest weekly rice market summary for the United States was released by the USDA today.

                       National Weekly Rice Summary

                             Domestic Trend
   In the south, long and medium grain rice prices steady; parboiled prices steady;
second heads steady; brewers steady.  Rice by-products:  rice bran prices mostly
steady, however in Arkansas instances 15.00 higher; rice millfeed not established;
hulls steady with very limited available current sales.  Rough rice prices holding
steady.
   In California, medium and short grain milled rice prices steady; second heads and
brewers steady to weak.  Rice by-products:  rice bran prices steady; hulls steady.
   On the CME settlements for Friday June 13th, Rough Rice July 2014 futures closed
.09 higher at 14.51.  September 2014 closed .035 higher at 14.17.  November 2014
closed .025 higher at 14.35.  US dollar index on Friday Jun 13th settled at 80.61.
