U.S. National Weekly Rice Summary

LITTLE ROCK - Jun 9/14 - SNS -- The latest weekly rice market summary for the United States was released by the USDA today.

                       National Weekly Rice Summary
                 (Arkansas-Louisiana-Texas-California)
                             Domestic Trend
   In the south, long and medium grain rice prices steady; parboiled prices steady;
second heads steady; brewers steady.  Rice by-products:  rice bran prices mostly
steady, however in Arkansas instances 5.00 to 10.00 higher; rice millfeed steady;
hulls steady with limited available sales.  Rough rice prices holding steady.
   In California, medium and short grain milled rice prices steady; second heads
steady; brewers steady.  Rice by-products:  rice bran prices steady to 7.00 higher;
hulls 4.00 higher.
   On the CME settlements for Friday June 6th, Rough Rice July 2014 futures closed
.095 higher at 14.175.  September 2014 closed .06 higher at 13.90.  November 2014
closed .05 higher at 14.025.  US dollar index on Friday Jun 6th settled at 80.43.
